*First sustained pheromone trap capture.

**Based on SkyBit predictions.

1Base temperature of 45
°F, upper temperature of 90°F.  Control of the fourth generation is justified where the moth capture in pheromone traps averages more than 10 moths/trap/week in both peach and apple. Initiate insecticide applications about 7 days after exceeding this threshold and maintain spray intervals on a 2 week (complete, preferred) or 5-7 day (alternate-row-middle) schedule for as long as this condition continues until harvest or night time temperatures become too cool for mating and egg-laying. Control options in peach [days to harvest] include Adjourn [14], Ambush [14], Asana [14], Delegate [14, (1 on nectarine)], Imidan [14], Lambda-Cy [14], Perm-UP [14], Pounce [14], Proaxis [14], Silencer [14], Voliam flexi [14], Voliam xpress [14], Warrior [14], Altacor [10], Assail [7], Baythroid [7], Belt [7], Intrepid [7], Tombstone [7], Lannate [4, (1 on nectarine)], and carbaryl (Sevin) [3]. Control options in apple include Voliam flexi [35], Calypso [30], Adjourn [21], Asana [21], Battalion [21], Decis [21], Lambda-Cy [21], Proaxis [21], Silencer [21], Voliam xpress [21], Warrior [21], Altacor [14], Azinphosmethyl (Guthion) [14], Belt [14], Intrepid [14], Avaunt [14], Danitol [14], Rimon [14], Assail [7], Baythroid [7], Delegate [7], Imidan [7], and Tombstone [7]. In addition, CheckMate OFM-F sprayable pheromone [0] may be applied in both apple and peach to provide up to 4 weeks of adult control through mating disruption.

2
Base temperature of 50
°F, upper temperature of 88°F. Control of third brood is recommended if moth capture averages more than 5 moths/trap/week. Optimum control timing, based on degree day (DD) accumulations after biofix, depends on material used. If using Rimon, Intrepid, Assail, Calypso, Cyd-X or Carpovirusine, initiate control at 2170 DD after biofix. If using Azinphosmethyl (Guthion), Imidan, Altacor, Belt, Delegate, Voliam flexi or Avaunt, initiate control at 2260 DD. An initial spray should be followed by a second complete application in about 10-14 days (7-10 days for Cyd-X or Carpovirusine), or up to three additional alternate-row-middle applications 5-7 days apart (3-5 days apart for Cyd-X or Carpovirusine), if needed based on moth capture in pheromone traps, proximity to harvest, and warm night temperatures that favor continued mating and egg-laying.

3Base temperature of 45
°F, upper temperature of 91°F. The most effective materials for control include Intrepid, Proclaim, Rimon, Delegate, Altacor, Belt, Voliam flexi and SpinTor. For second brood control, apply one of these materials as a complete spray at 2355-2435 DD and 2665-2740 DD after biofix, or up to four alternate-row-middle applications, 7 days apart, beginning at 2280 DD. For all other materials [BT, or Azinphos-methyl (Guthion) or Imidan in combination with Lannate, or pyrethroids], control the second brood with two complete applications at 2280-2355 DD and 2665-2740 DD, or four alternate-row-middle applications, 7 days apart, beginning at 2210 DD.
