Division of Animal & Nutritional Sciences
The Division of Animal and Nutritional Sciences offers three undergraduate degree programs: The B.S. in Animal and Nutritional Sciences prepares students for entry into veterinary school, medical school, dentistry, pharmacy, or other professional schools; a B.S. in Agriculture, which prepares students for careers in animal husbandry, nutrition, agribusiness management, production agriculture, animal pharmaceutical sales, or entry into varied graduate fields; and a B.S. in Biochemistry, which gives students a strong background in the sciences to prepare graduates for research, or entry into professional or graduate schools. Students have the opportunity to gain practical experience through research conducted on the WVU Animal Sciences farm, located just outside Morgantown.
