The Division of Resource Management is home to undergraduate programs in Agribusiness Management & Rural Development, Agriculture & Environmental Education, Environmental & Natural Resource Economics, and Landscape Architecture. Agribusiness graduates receive preparation to work in retail sales management, consulting, farm loan offices, USDA agencies, and other areas requiring business management skills combined with a knowledge of production agriculture. Agriculture and Environmental Education graduates may become certified high school agriculture teachers, or may emphasize communications and leadership. Students in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics may find employment in fields requiring knowledge of environmental and agricultural policies combined with an understanding of how the market economy works and the role of government regulation. Landscape Architecture students complete an accredited program and receive certification to find employment with many landscape architecture firms or begin businesses of their own.
