Graduates from the Interior Design program acquire a strong background with a large amount of hands-on experience. Employment in interior design fields is expected to grow throughout the coming years. Many designers find employment in:

Graduates from this program, after gaining experience as an apprentice, obtain higher-level positions and in large firms, may advance to chief designer, design department head, or other supervisory positions. Some experienced designers open their own design firms.

Design magazine, salaries of junior interior designers in the largest design
firms average
$25,000, and project and senior interior designers average $38,000. Project
managers average $50,000 annually.
