RESEARCH ACTIVITIES:
Research interests include technologies for preventing and controlling
acid mine drainage; treatment of acid mine drainage by chemicals, wetlands,
anoxic limestone drains, open limestone channels; revegetation of acid
minesoils; amendments for minesoils such as sewage sludge and fly ash;
and post-mining development of reclaimed lands.
