Dear Agriculture Teachers and Students: We extend to each of you a cordial invitation to attend the Eighty-Fifth Annual State Agriculture Career Development Events to be held on the campus of West Virginia University, September 24-26, 2008. You should make room reservations immediately. Please Email (alice.compton@mail.wvu.edu) or FAX (304-293-3752) your Team and Contestant entries for each contest to 293-3752 by September 17. NO NEW TEAMS WILL BE ENTERED AT REGISTRATION TIME (no exceptions, no excuses). It will be valuable to you and your students to visit the AGEE homepage to access the CDE Rules and Regulations which includes scantron sheets and test questions. You can access the CDE homepage at http://www.caf.wvu.edu/resm/aee/cde/. The Rules and Regulations posted on the website will be considered the "OFFICIAL" source of information for the contest. All contests will be scored with the new SCANTRON machine and score sheets. Students will have to possess two #2 pencils and a firm substance on which to write. They should also have something to protect their scantron sheets from the weather. The entry fee cost per team is still $5.00 (makes checks payable to WVU Collegiate FFA). The schedule of events contained herein will allow you to select team members without a conflict. Faculty and administrators in the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Consumer Sciences will be happy to have you attend and participate in this event. If you have specific questions about a contest, please call the Contest Coordinator. Phone numbers for contest coordinators are located in the back of the Ag Teachers Directory.
