GOAL
: To augment and promote the common interests
of students majoring in agriculture, forestry
and consumer science disciplines and to coordinate
the activities of the agriculture, forestry and
consumer sciences student body and various departmental
clubs, honoraries, and agriculture, forestry and
consumer science student groups representing West
Virginia University in intercollegiate activities.
OBJECTIVES
: To be united
for the purpose of group action of the initiation
and execution of any policy, program, or project
that will serve to further carry out our general
goal. The primary objectives shall be as follows:
1.) To provide greater
opportunities for inter-divisional acquaintances between
students and faculty.
2.) To serve as a unifying
agency among the various divisional clubs, organizations,
and honoraries, in the Davis college of Agriculture,
Forestry and Consumer Sciences.
3.) To serve as a means of
direct contact between the administrative officers of the
College of Agriculture, Forestry and consumer Sciences and
the student body.
4.) To sponsor or assist
in the coordination of activities that will contribute to
a better college and university.
5.) To encourage,
stimulate, and coordinate alumni relations with the
college and university.
6.) To serve as a
recruiting agency for the Davis College of Agriculture,
Forestry and Consumer Sciences.
