Eight cow/calf units were maintained on all treatments and replications. Measurements of soil nutrients, forage production and animal performance were made from end of April until mid November. Experiment will continue in 2002. Publications: (No publications.)
Impact:
No data has been analyzed yet. Expected results will show farmers how to maintain profitable cow-calf production systems based on pasture. Primary impact will be in Appalachia, but will extend to areas with similar production constrains
