To use this databaseselect the county and then the soiltype. An example would be if looking for Gilpinchannery silt loam, severely eroded soil in Preston County, select Preston inthe County Box and select Gilpin from the Soiltype pulldown menu. All theresults for Gilpin within the county will be returned along with the soildescription. If the desired county is not in the list of counties, this means thatthere is no soil survey for this county.
