Forage Identification Review

Can you remember how to identify the fifteen forage species presented? Let's do a short review.

Two figures will be shown of each forage. Take about five seconds to look at each. Note your answer, then you can check your answer with the third figure.

Here is the first forage.

Crownvetch is correct because of the many leaflets per leaf.

It's birdsfoot trefoil. Remember, it has five leaflets per leaf.

Watch for small details

 

If you said white or ladino clover, you're right. Note the absence of hair.
