West Virginia beef producers have the opportunity toparticipate in a statewide marketing program to identify andenhance the value of good genetics and health management.Producers may select on of the following health and managementprotocol to insure a performance advantage.

III. Performance Advantage Feeder Cattle
All calves must be sired by Performance Tested sires from a central test or AI service. Calves sired by bulls with weaning and yearling EPD's above the breed average for respective breeds will be accepted upon approval. The South Branch Stockyards in Moorefield presently has the only Performance Advantage sale with NO health requirements.
All calves sired by Performance tested bulls in the Quality Assurance Feeder Program will be identified.
